The Family Surgery in Altrincham received some great feedback from our patients in the recently published 2019  GP Patient Survey.

The survey, run by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the NHS, is based on the opinions of nearly one million users of practices across England on everything from trust in their doctor to waiting times in the surgery.

The practice, run Dr Anoop Sahal, ranked 252nd nationwide out of more than 7,000 surgeries.

Some 100 per cent of patients surveyed said they found the receptionists helpful, whilst 99 per cent found it easy to get through to the practice on the phone

In addition, 97pc had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional and 96pc felt their needs were met during their last practice appointment

We would like to thank all our patients for their most kind comments and for taking time to complete the questionaires

Organ donation law in England has changed

What has changed?

Organ donation in England has moved to an 'opt out' system. You may also hear it referred to as 'Max and Keira's Law'.

This means that all adults in England will be considered to have agreed to be an organ donor when they die unless they have recorded a decision not to donate or are in one of the excluded groups.

Your family will still be approached and your faith, beliefs and culture will continue to be respected.

You still have a choice about whether or not you wish to become a donor. Get the facts about organ donation to help you decide.
